Transcendental Meditation (TM), as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, is a simple, natural, effortless technique, practised twice a day, for 15-20 minutes. The mind naturally experiences more peaceful, more quiet, more settled states of the mind, until transcending, going beyond thought altogether, to its source. This is state of restful alertness, absolute being, where the mind simpy experiences itself, pure unbounded self awareness/consciousness.
This experience is most fulfilling to the mind (and heart) and brings all our conscious awareness into play. This provides unending fulfilment and peace in daily life and the ability to fulfil our desires with much much greater ease. So 200% of life, as Maharishi says, 100% fulfilled inside and 100% fulfilled outside; living absolute bliss consciousness.
